Welcome to my gallery. I hope you enjoy looking my Welsh landscape paintings, seascape paintings and Irish landscapes. Most of my paintings are oil paintings, some are in acrylic.
All are original works, taken from sketches and paintings made on location.
My landscapes are about a sense of being involved with the land and enjoying space and a feeling of escape. I also love to paint rivers, lakes and seas - seascapes and waterscapes.
I want to evoke the mood of the place in my work. Wales landscape paintings feature the North Wales countryside. Ireland landscape paintings are mainly of the west coast of Ireland.
In seascape paintings, I express the power and movement of the seas and the beauty of the colours in the water in different atmospheres and seasons.
I mostly paint the landscapes of North Wales and Ireland, my seascapes too are often of the Atlantic coasts of Wales and Ireland.

I love colour and I nearly always work in oils because they provide me with such rich colours and lovely blending effects.

In April 2011 (11th - 30th) you can see my work at an exhibition at Theatr Clwyd, Mold with North Wales Artists. Other exhibitions are listed on the forthcoming exhibitions page. Some of my work is also on show at the Jack Mytton Resturant on the canal at Hindford http://www.jack-mytton.co.uk/. This resturant and pub is in a beautiful location, right on the canal. Lovely for a walk and a meal!
